The unconquerable Invictus Games is back and with it is the reminder of the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for those who serve their country.
Crewsaver, an expert designer and manufacturer of marine lifesaving equipment, is delighted to provide the Invictus Games with personal flotation devices from its popular Fusion 3D ranges. Game officials will benefit from Crewsaver’s inventive lifejacket designs - with race directors equipped with the Crewfit 180N Pro, and event medics with the Crewfit 165N sport lifejackets. In addition to gas lifejackets, the vibrant Yak Kallista 50N buoyancy aid will be used to help assist Game officials to easily identify athletes during the competition classes.
The lively Australian city of Sydney will host and welcome 500 competitors - competing in 11 different sports - and over 1000 family and friends to this year’s Invictus Games.
Peter Hicks, Crewsaver Key Account Manager says – “It has been a privilege to work closely with organisers of the Invictus Games to ensure the competitors, as well as Game officials, are kept #LifejacketSafe throughout this awe-inspiring event.”
After the Games, the Crewsaver lifejackets and Yak buoyancy aids will be donated by the Game organisers to one of the local sailing clubs involved in the preparations and hosting of this inspiring event.
