With an origin tracing back to 1957, we are the pioneers of the first gas operated lifejacket which subsequently set the benchmark for the design and function for the leisure user. 

Our origin story

Crewsaver has spent generations advancing flotation, from the engineering people rarely see to the comfort and freedom they feel every time they wear it.
Today, Crewsaver is the flotation brand of Hansen Protection. Crewsaver continues to specialise in flotation products and expertise, while Hansen Protection brings that expertise together with garments, services and other technologies to create complete professional protection systems.

Our expert designers work in collaboration with the most experienced marine Search and Rescue organisations, including UK's RNLI, Netherland's KNRM and France's SNSM, as well as elite athletes and defence operatives used to pushing their limits.
